At AORS, we take pride in being the voice of Ontario’s municipal public works professionals — the people who build, operate, and maintain the core infrastructure that keeps our communities safe, connected, and thriving. From roads and bridges to parks, water systems, and public spaces, our members are the backbone of every municipality across the province.
Advocacy is a vital part of our mission. AORS works closely with government, industry partners, and other associations to ensure that the issues impacting municipal operations and public works are heard and addressed at every level. Whether it’s promoting fair and consistent legislation, improving workplace safety, or addressing workforce development challenges, AORS speaks up for the professionals who keep Ontario moving.
If there are advocacy issues or emerging challenges in public works that you believe AORS should bring forward, please reach out to Kelly Elliott, Executive Director, to share your concerns or ideas. Together, we can continue to strengthen and protect the municipal public works profession across Ontario.
