Record-Breaking 2025 AORS Municipal Public Works Trade Show Draws Thousands to Woodstock
The 2025 AORS Municipal Public Works Trade Show, presented in partnership with the Oxford County Road Supervisors Association (OCRSA), has shattered attendance and exhibitor records, cementing its reputation as Ontario’s premier public-works showcase.
Held June 4–5 at the Woodstock Fairgrounds, the show welcomed well over 2,000 municipal professionals, suppliers, and community guests (final numbers coming soon) and featured more than 300 indoor and outdoor exhibits, the largest footprint in AORS history. A crowd-pleasing highlight was the first-ever Battery Demonstration Booth, where attendees test-drove cutting-edge electric-powered tools from STIHL, Greenworks, and Colvoy Equipment.
“We hoped for a great turn-out, and the public-works community exceeded every expectation,” said Jim Borton, CRS-S, Trade Show Committee Chair for the OCRSA. “Thank you to everyone who traveled to Woodstock, to our exhibitors who packed the grounds with innovation, and especially to our generous sponsors—without you, this record-setting show simply wouldn’t have happened.”
Golf, Awards, and Friendly Competition
The annual Ross McKenzie Memorial Golf Tournament teed off at Craigowan Golf Course on June 3 and sold out with 144 golfers.
“It was a picture-perfect day,” said Dan Locke, Tournament Chair. “Congratulations to the team from Innovative Surface Solutions on capturing the trophy—and a heartfelt thank-you to Ross McKenzie’s family for joining us to present the award. Their presence reminded us why this tradition means so much.”
Inside the fairgrounds, excellence was on full display:

AORS Leadership Applauds Oxford County Team
“On behalf of AORS, I extend my deepest gratitude to the Oxford County Road Supervisors Association for hosting an incredible show,” said Karla Musso-Garcia, CRS-I, AORS President. “To each volunteer who guided traffic, set up tents, registered delegates, and kept coffee flowing—your hard work made this milestone possible.”
Looking Ahead to 2026
AORS is already planning for another blockbuster event in 2026. The AORS Municipal Public Works Trade Show returns June 3–4 in Petawawa, in partnership with the Renfrew County Road Supervisors Association. Booth space is already over 70% sold out, and the excitement is building.
