MTO Announces DriveON Information Sessions
DriveOn is the new Ontario emission and safety inspection program for heavy diesel commercial motor vehicles.
AORS has received several inquiries from members for information about the changes to the requirements for Motor Vehicle inspection Stations, especially the need for new equipment to report test results on line. This will impact those municipalities that have internal inspection stations.
MTO has announced a series of information sessions to answer questions about these changes. There will be 2 virtual sessions (December 5 and January 9), as well as numerous in-person sessions November through January, starting in northwestern Ontario in mid November. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. AORS strongly recommends you attend one of these sessions. Dates and registrations links can be found here, and more information about the program is available on the MTO website.
