The majority of AORS members come from its 34 Local Associations (LAs), the close-to-home organizations that bring members together. Each LA is an independent association with its own constitution and by-laws, and each appoints one representative to the AORS Board of Directors.
Local Associations are the platform where the most direct member contact takes place and offers our Associates immediate and cost-effective way to:
- Participate in activities and events (Roadeos, AORS Annual Public Works Trade Show, tournaments, etc.)
- Utilize their right to vote and hold office
- Attend educational programs
- Network with colleagues and peers in a professional setting
- Exchange technologies/trends and best practices with colleagues
- Help support and promote our Association.
An abbreviated list of the Executive of each Local Association can be downloaded here, or choose from the list of Local Associations below for their Executive and relevant documents.
Suppliers wishing to join a Local Association should contact the Secretary in each Association to obtain an application form.
