Upcoming Seminars

Several AORS training programs are offered on a scheduled basis at different locations as noted below.

COVID-19 Impacts:  AORS and our training partners are committed to delivering the quality training that our members and their staff need to provide the essential services their municipalities expect, safely and efficiently.  We will do so in full compliance with public health guidelines or government directives on group gatherings, also taking into consideration the availability of instructors and training venues, travel restrictions, and sufficient demand for individual training events to make them viable.  As these are changing daily, we will make adjustments as needed.

When we do proceed with in-person training, we will implement protocols around distancing and disinfecting.

At this time, all in-person training in March and April is cancelled and will be rescheduled to a later date where practicable.  Future training events will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.

Online delivery options are under development for the following courses:  CVOR for Supervisors, Supervisor Due Diligence, Gravel Road School, and Rural Road Maintenance.

As mentioned, the situation will be monitored closely, and adjustments made as necessary.  All impacted students will be contacted directly.

Click on the corresponding links for more information or to download registration forms.  Other programs are offered on a proposal basis, typically at or near the client’s location.  Click here for a complete list of all training programs available through AORS, or click here for more information on hosting a training seminar.  Training programs can also be tailored or developed to the particular needs of our clients.

As the world grapples with the quickly evolving COVID-19 outbreak, AORS is making adjustments to ensure the health and safety of our members, clients, staff, contractors and other stakeholders, their families, and the many communities they all serve so selflessly.  This remains our top priority.  Click here for information on how AORS is adjusting our training and other programs  in response to this threat.

Many other organizations offer training seminars or other events that may be of interest to AORS members.  Click here for a partial listing of these events.
